Psalm 118

His Steadfast Love Endures Forever 118  Oh give thanks to the  Lord , for he is good;      for his steadfast love endures forever! 2  Let Israel say,      “His steadfast love endures forever.” 3  Let the house of Aaron say,      “His steadfast love endures forever.” 4  Let those who fear the  Lord  say,      “His steadfast love endures forever.” 5  Out of my distress I called on the  Lord ;      the  Lord  answered me and set me free. 6  The  Lord  is on my side; I will not fear.      What can man do to me? 7  The  Lord  is on my side as my helper;      I shall look in triumph on those who hate me. 8  It is better to take refuge in the  Lord      than to trust in man. 9  It is better to take refuge in the...

Incline your ear to me;      answer me speedily in the day when I call! 3  For my days pass away like smoke,      and my bones burn like a furnace. 4  My heart is struck down like grass and has withered;      I forget to eat my bread. 5  Because of my loud groaning      my bones cling to my flesh. 6  I am like a desert owl of the wilderness,      like an owl [ a ]  of the waste places; 7  I lie awake;      I am like a lonely sparrow on the housetop. 8  All the day my enemies taunt me; ...

Psalm 110

Sit at My Right Hand A Psalm of David. 110  The  Lord  says to my Lord:      “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.” 2  The  Lord  sends forth from Zion      your mighty scepter.      Rule in the midst of your enemies! 3  Your people will offer themselves freely      on the day of your power, [ a ]      in holy garments; [ b ] from the womb of the morning,      the dew of your youth will be yours. [ c ] 4  The  Lord  has sworn      and will not change his mind, “You are a priest forever      after the order of Melchizedek.” 5  The Lord is at your right hand;      he will shatter kings on the day of his wrath. 6  He will execute judgment among the nat...
