The Day The Nazi Died
We're told that after the war the Nazis vanished without a trace
- Cain: But we didn’t!
- Abel: We agree! The version of history that sends the message that the Nazis just vanished & the world moved on constitutes a romanticized version of history.
In the earliest years, those who survived the Second World War went out of their way to remind themselves and their children (and grandchildren) about the War & why it happened in hopes they would never forget the War & the ideology that went with it.
They even answered the Nazi propaganda mill that had helped underwrite the Nazi’s campaign to divide & conquer the people of Germany & their European (and non-European neighbors). Take, for example, this newsreel.
But battalions of fascists still dream of a master race
- Cain:
- Abel:
- Strictly speaking fascism itself did not totally die out. Spain was a fascist state both during the War & after the War.
- That said, the overt, out, & proud fascism that emanated from Nazi Germany went underground, evidenced by the organization of various groups like World Union of Free Enterprise National Socialists (WUFENS), now known as the New Order, the growth of the AfD Party in Germany, & the presence of a bona fide Nazi symbol on stage @ CPAC a few years ago.
The history books they tell of their defeat in '45
- Cain:
- Abel: τετÎλεσται! The Bible tells of their defeat in the Book of John. When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. (John 19:30, ESV)
But they all came out of the woodwork on the day the Nazi died
- Cain:
- Abel: When Christ (the “Nazi”) died, the powers of hell rose up to declare victory & continued eating & drinking, marrying & being given in marriage.
Meanwhile, Christ took the battle down to hell itself.
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit, 19 in which he went and proclaimed to the spirits in prison, 20 because they formerly did not obey, when God’s patience waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through water. (1 Peter 3:18–20, ESV)
They say the prisoner at Spandau
Was a symbol of defeat
- Cain: From Satan & his progeny’s perspective they no doubt rejoiced, believing they had gained the upperhand just like Lamech in Genesis 4.
- Abel: He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him. (Ephesians 6:12)
Whilst Hess remained imprisoned
And the facists; they were beat
So the promise of an Aryan world
Would never materialize
- Abel: Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven. He had in his hand a key to the hole without a bottom. He also had a strong chain. 2 He took hold of the dragon, that old snake, who is the Devil, or Satan, and chained him for 1,000 years. 3 The angel threw the devil into the hole without a bottom. He shut it and locked him in it. He could not fool the nations anymore until the 1,000 years were completed. After this he must be free for awhile.
So why did they all come out of the woodwork
On the day the Nazi died
“A question!”
The world is riddled with maggots
The maggots are getting fat
They're making a tasty meal of all
The bosses and bureaucrats
They're taking over the boardrooms
And they're fat and full of pride
- Excellent Answer! Warmongering, gluttony, sorcery, works righteousness, haughtiness, & angry religious &/or quasi-religious bigotry amount to Wile E. Coyote’s supermagnet for supergeniuses — the sort that summons demons who want to enslave, control, &/or destroy God’s handiwork.
- “When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, but finds none.” (Matthew 12:43)
And they all came out of the woodwork
On the day the Nazi died
- Cain: We must seize this opportunity lest the Law & Gospel spread & conquer Judea, Samaria, the ends of the Earth, & the cosmos itself!
- Abel: (A) Have you noticed how popular deconstructionism these days? (B) The Book of Acts.
So if you meet with these historians
I'll tell you what to say
Tell them that the Nazis
Never really went away
- Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:16–20, ESV)
- Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
They're out there burning houses down
And peddling racist lies
- Cain: Look at those Christians & those who agree with them! Aren’t they racist, hypocrites, liars, homophobes, &tc. ?!
- Abel: There’s truth to that accusation. That said, the hypocrisy of Christians & others doesn’t constitute a positive defense of the thoughts, words, & deeds of the Antichrist & his allies & their latest (or ongoing) Lucy & Ethel plan to rule the world & get their vengeance on now that Christ has made a mockery of them.
And we'll never rest again...
Until every Nazi dies...
- Behold, I send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me. And the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to his temple; and the messenger of the covenant in whom you delight, behold, he is coming, says the Lord of hosts. 2 But who can endure the day of his coming, and who can stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner’s fire and like fullers’ soap. 3 He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, and they will bring offerings in righteousness to the Lord. 4 Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasing to the Lord as in the days of old and as in former years.
- 5 “Then I will draw near to you for judgment. I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, against the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, against those who oppress the hired worker in his wages, the widow and the fatherless, against those who thrust aside the sojourner, and do not fear me, says the Lord of hosts. (Malachi 3:1–5, ESV)
- You know the LORD is going to save everybody, right?…
