Witchcraft & Sorcery Vs. Prophecy

From time to time members of the internet witchcraft collaborative &/o lone crone or crones allege(s) that activities like the burning of sage in a church is, on a functional &/or fundamental level, just another act of witchcraft &/or sorcery.   

That’s an extraordinarily ignorant point of view, insofar as witchcraft/sorcery might look a lot alike, but in truth the sameness/similarity is only cosmetic.

Witchcraft generally binds itself to the earth & seeks to harness mystical elements & energies already believed to be bound to the earth &/or, if possible, elsewhen &/or where & bind them to the earth or one or more analogous addresses.  

Sorcery generally looks elsewhere for cosmic elements & energies by loosing them from the earth &/or otherwise manipulating / harnessing elements & energies that are either believed to be in part &/or in whole altogether not bound to the earth or a fundamentally &/or functionally analogous address or set of addresses.  

In addition, witchcraft & sorcery are always or almost always in a state of flux & must be periodically reconfigured due to factors like physical &/or psychological/mental, mystical &/or metaphysical entropy, erosion, contraction, expansion, &/or stasis or other suchlike.   Also, witchcraft & sorcery can return to its user &/or source void. 

Moreover, witchcraft &/or sorcery operate via legislative, executive, judicial, economic, & other individual, quasi-institutional, &/or institutional systems &/or means &/despite its propaganda, is contractual or semi-contractual.   

In short, witchcraft & sorcery are wholly & completely manmade &/or demon made constructs that are in every way exhaustible, ephemeral, & in every way inferior to bona fide prophecy.  They are, at best, parodies of bona fide prophecy qua prophecy. 

By way of contrast, bona fide prophecy is God Almighty’s answer to witchcraft & sorcery & is in every way superior, eternal, & inexhaustible.  Originating in & with God & God’s Word, it never returns void & always reaches its target. 

Witchcraft & sorcery are definitionally bound to the created order & use/utilize elements & energies that are inherently exhaustible & ephemeral, like batteries.   

Bona fide prophecy is covenantal in nature.    Unlike contracts, which require mutual consent.   

In addition, some of its of the weirder forms of witchcraft &/or sorcery like the sorts bona fide Set (or other pseudodeities) worshippers) involves one or more (usually many) different forms of deceit intended to use/exploit the moral agents involved & even seek to steal, usurp the authority of &/or destroy one, some, or even all of the moral agents (& whomever) else in order to further its/their ends. 

By way of contrast, covenants emanating from God are not contracts that require mutual consent in order to operate.    God’s covenants are suzerain covenants in form & content & imposed upon us by God as our Creator-Deliverer. 

God is defined as a triune spirit who is infinite, eternal, & unchangeable in being, wisdom, power, justice, holiness, goodness, & truth.

God is not part of the created order nor bound &/or unbound to &/or from it.  Because God’s is infinite, eternal, & unchangeable, intuitive (words), inductive (objects), & hybrid (both) relies on an inexhaustible, totally, meticulously, completely, & comprehensively authoritative source of power & authority that prioritizes as best as the user/participant/governor can, (love for) God, then all others, before a member of the created order’s own self.   

God doesn’t suffer from mystical, metaphysical, or any other sort of entropy, flux, &tc.   Neither do God’s thoughts, words, & deeds return to Him void.  A prophetic act on the part of a prophet, priest, & / or king might have to be tweaked or modified here & there, but that’s only due to the finitude/mutability of a created moral agent or agents.
