Let’s look at Genesis:   Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.” 19 Now out of the ground the Lord God had formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name. 20 The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper fit for him. (Genesis 2:18 - 20, ESV) Why are the animals not fit helpers? In part, because although created first, they are governmentally inferior to him just as Adam is to God.   As to the immanent Trinity, the only fit helpers for God are God’s own hypostases.    Strictly speaking, we are not helpers — we are honored participants in the story of eternity, not authors co-equal to God.    God has no co-equals outside Himself.   Thus, th...

   Covenant           

In the beginning, God created the heavens 

and the earth. 

The earth was 

without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God 

was hovering over the face of the waters.

And God spoke all these words, saying,

“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

“You shall have no other gods before me.
